Wandering Stone Light (In His Love)

By Sharon Lia Robinson

thank you stones
in the healing
oneness of my darling
in the midnight
kiss of forever

thank you stones
for each time
I was alone
you gladly gave
to me your heart

each time I wandered
the empty moonlit gate
dawn of compassion
arrived to awaken

the breath of slumber
an unknown kindness
the fragrant messenger
seemed to receive me

kindness of stones
to a lonesome, moonlit bird
offering the gift of the world
